Meet The Team

Ryan Elsbury

Hello, I’m Ryan a co-founder of Swift Sports Coaching. I have been in the industry for over 15 years, acquiring a BSc in Sports Coaching Science and spending time coaching in America. From directing a large team of sports specialists and managing a wrap around after school club, this helped shape my vision to start a company that was able offer children fun experience days in the school holidays, whilst being able to deliver high quality physical education in term time.

My passion for sport extends to obtaining a black belt in Taekwondo and playing semi-professional football amongst other sports hobbies. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my wife, family and two children.

Daniel Meek

Hi, I’m Dan, I’m a co-founder of Swift Sports Coaching. I hold a Masters and a Bachelor’s Degree in sports coaching and have been teaching primary school PE for 10 years. I specialise in delivering continued professional development courses for school staff, improving the quality of PE and sports provision in primary schools. I love my job, working with children and seeing them develop and improve is a real passion of mine.

I enjoy participating in sports including football and golf. I’m married with two children and when I’m not working I like to spend time with my family and friends.

Nicholas Smith

Hi, I’m Nick, I am a Co-founder of Swift Sports Coaching and have been managing and coordinating a team of sports coaches for the previous 15 years, ensuring the smooth operation of all aspects of the business from after school clubs to one to one intervention planning. I have continued teaching PE in primary school and I specialise in EYFS and KS1 provision. I pride myself on ensuring my lessons are always fun, energetic and inclusive.

I hold a black belt in Taekwondo and was British champion in 2002. I’m an avid Arsenal fan and try to get to as many matches as possible both home and away. I’m married with two children and enjoy spending time with my family at home but especially going on holiday camping.

Jon Muckle

Hi, my name is Mr Muckle.
I really enjoy meeting new people and hearing their stories, that is why I love my job!
I have been working with young people in schools and mentoring for quite a while.
I have a lot of interests ranging across Geology and Architecture, TV and films, and all kinds of sports.
I love music, and I play the guitar and harmonica.
I enjoy lots of others things as well, from mechanics in cars and motorbikes, to adrenaline sports and loads more.
I also love to play and watch rugby.
On some weeknights I teach and attend multiple different martial arts classes.
I find that martial arts not only teaches me strength but discipline, and strength of character as well.

Sarah Shephard

Headteacher

Honestly money well spent, my son went to holiday club during the February half term and loved every second…he cried on the way home because ‘I will miss everyone’, I made so many new friends, it’s so much fun and better than school.

The staff are great, very friendly and always smiling. They interacted with the children great, you can clearly see they are passionate about what they do. The activities they put on are exactly what the kids are into. I would definitely recommend it and return in the future.

Thank you guys
